Meet The Artist
Manny Guevarra (they/them) is a Filipino-American multimedia artist based in Orlando, FL. They are the illustrator and author of several comic series, including "The Mind's Eye," "Multo," and "EarthEaters."
After being diagnosed with schizophrenia in 2018, Manny reconnected with the passion that had brought them joy and comfort since they could first hold a pencil: storytelling through art. Rediscovering this passion offered not only solace during a tumultuous and frightening time, but a renewed sense of purpose to share art and stories with those struggling through similar plights.
Manny's artwork focuses on the importance of mental health, the beauty of nature around us, the wonder of the fantasy it inspires, and the gratitude in being alive to witness it all.

You can find us all over the Sunshine State! From the sunny beaches of Tampa and St. Pete, up to Tallahassee where Manny graduated a proud 'Nole, and back to sunny Orlando, FL where we are based, the Flower Dragon is bound to fly in and set up its whimsical shop!
